But will Easter get in the way? It’s a long weekend over in the U.K. and that suggests to me that there will be a few DRT members on mini-breaks etc.

In years past, the Easter live chats have not seen good numbers attending. It does suggest that we give the live chats a miss this weekend, despite the most welcome return of league football throughout Europe.

Let me know what you think over on Twitter, the DRT Facebook Page, or drop me an email.

I like a lot of the matches this weekend, but I must warn you that we are in the business-end of a few of the leagues.

Celtic, for instance, have the title sewn up. Rangers and Aberdeen still have second place to fight over. There will be a lot of what we describe as ‘dead rubbers’ up-and-coming in the next few weeks – matches where both sides sit in mid-table mediocrity, not threatening the title or a European place, and comfortably away from the relegation zone.

The European leagues have a head-start over the English leagues, and their business is going to be wrapped up a few weeks early. So make sure you know the teams still with something tangible to play for, and focus on their matches.

Get in touch if you want a live chat, or if you acknowledge that you won’t be around for a live chat.

I’ll decide by tomorrow whether to have said live chat, even if it is in Twitter format. Have a great Easter!
