Profit from LIVE trading on Betfair

It’s been a good week for the neutral bet. Some examples will explain what a neutral bet is.

  • Bristol Rovers v Wigan – 1-1. Lay the draw because Bristol Rovers were bossing it. Final score….1-2 to Wigan!! Rovers was mugged, guvnor , yet still we profit.
  • Over 3.5 goals Rangers v Antwerp in the Europa League. Both teams combine to bring it in.
  • Shakhtar v Maccabi tel Aviv – lay the draw as Maccabi look as if they will score. But no, Shakhtar score, the draw ends, we profit regardless!

So, if you are fed up of the likes of Hoffenheim with their 26 shots and no goal , then think neutral.

Neutral trades allow both teams to work for you

  • Lay the 0-0
  • Lay the draw
  • Back over 2.5 goals
  • Desmond 2-2

What other neutral plays can you think of?

  • Lay the current correct score would be one that springs to mind.
  • Lay No Next goal?

I am working my way through the over 2.5 goals stats that I post at the DRT Facebook page. Over 2.5 goals is….a neutral play. I am recording the final score and the times of the first, second, and where applicable, third goals in the hope that I can get , for us, a nice profitable neutral trading strategy.

Once I figure out a profitable strategy I will certainly let you know. The key for me with an over 2.5 goals trade is to have at least one first half goal, remembering that we can profit from the HINT, and not necessarily the outcome.

If the market thinks there will be over 2.5 goals because an early goal has been scored, then that is all that we need to profitably trade!

See you over the weekend.
