Prepare for the summer leagues, and the summer tennis…
Slowly but surely, the football Europe-wide will be winding down, as sides decide their fate.
Automatic promotion?
Promotion play-off?
Relegation play-off?
Relegation?
I hope you are enjoying the run-in coverage here at DRT. It is a very exciting part of the season and you are guaranteed sides will be giving their all ( those sides of course with any of the above 4 Fates on their minds.)
There are a lot of dead rubber matches which must be avoided. Please do not be tempted to trade these. Who’s busting a gut to win? Some of the players will already be wearing their knotted handkerchiefs, will have booked an extended session with their hairdresser to get their highlights sorted, and will have booked an extended session with their tattooist to get tattoos.
Please remember that there is Summer Football to keep us ticking over.
I include the leagues in research despite not enough matches played to get a form angle . I want to familiarise you with the names of the teams.
We have
? Irish Premier Division – Derry the new kids in Town
? Irish First Division – an improving Cork showing their mettle early season
? Norwegian Eliteserien – Bodo Glimt, Rosenborg and Molde are likely to dominate
? Norwegian First Division – will newly relegated Mjondalen flourish?
? Swedish Allsvenskan – Malmo the side to beat
? Swedish Superettan – all I see here are goals, goals , goals early season.
? Finnish Veikkausliiga – HJK Helsinki and KuPS are the early season eye catchers.
Don’t forget that May brings with it the first tennis Grand Slam, the French Open. Tennis is eminently tradeable in a DRT kind of way and I’ll be sharing examples of how I trade tennis with you.
I will see you for a live chat webinar or two this weekend. Please try and attend if you can as I can often dig out a big odds play that I cannot necessarily pass on to Telegrammers ( although I do try and pass them all to Telegram).
See you over the weekend, and May the Force Be with Your Team be with promotion or relegation. I will be routing for Salernitana in Italian Seria A . 3 consecutive wins sees them within 3 points of 4th bottom. Superb home support too.
