Just as we’re done with the Puzzling International Break, we have one of THOSE weekends to look forward to.
You know, the type of weekends which turn Big Sides into Sunday League sides, missing the goalkeeper who is still asleep and the centre forward who is still in the pub!
Post-International and Pre-Champions League can be a recipe for disaster. If it’s anything like the post-Champions League, Pre-International 3rd October, then I’d be imploring you to back the opponents of teams such as Real Madrid, Ajax, PSG, Bayern Munich.
So, please do have in the back of your mind this rather unique ‘sandwich’ weekend. We’ll get a gauge tonight with PSG and Club Brugge the Champions League contenders.
