It’s beginning to look a lot like Chris Moss….
Could be in the shortlist to be the new Leeds Manager, unless Bielsa can end a run of 16 goals conceded last 4 matches! I think they’ll need to sign Santa and stick him in goal.
What’s the football schedule looking like over Xmas?
Well, Xmas Day we’ll have off so you can watch Die Hard, Raiders of the Lost Ark, It’s a Wonderful Life, and the Only Fools and Horses Xmas special.
Boxing Day sees a good fixture list and I’ll be telegramming on that day, as long as we have nothing planned. I am in Thailand so no extended family to visit.
On Monday 27th December we have one Premier League match, 2 Championship matches ( and a partridge in a pear tree), the Belgian Juliper League, and Turkish Super Lig. A motley crew. Maybe day off Monday?
The Premier League dominates Tuesday 28th December and I’m certainly in a position ( at time of writing) to monitor, at least, the early kick-offs.
Wednesday 29th December we have 2 Premier League matches, English Championship, League One and League Two night time kick offs, Italian Seria B, SPL. Plenty of football on offer, my only regret is that we do not see 15:00 kick offs.
The 30th December 2021 sees Premier League and Championship, and Portuguese Primeira Liga.
New Year’s Eve is a definite no go, and New Years Day is Alka Selzer day I’d suggest for the vast majority.
Please let me know your thoughts. Would you prefer the week from Xmas to New Year off? It’s a natural time to have a break with thoughts elsewhere? Let me know at DRT Facebook.
In the meantime, Merry Xmas to all, and a Happy New Year. May you be as lucky as Aston Villa’s Steven Gerrard!
