Profit from LIVE trading on Betfair

We’ve had some good live chat sessions of late. I do apologise that I have not tended to do any weekday live chats.

I am afraid that the weekday matches at the moment have not fired me up enough to do a live chat. I may change that tonight.

All being well (i.e. girlfriend not wanting to go out), I will do a Twitter live chat this evening for 19:00 and the Dutch Eerste Divisie. I hope to see you tonight: @drtclub

Don’t forget your tennis trading too!

I know the time differences are a concern but DRT can be applied to tennis.

Here’s a simple example: Andy Murray v Philip Kohlschreiber…

Note the odds for the favourite pre-match (rather like the football). 1.08 Andy Murray should be winning with ease.

Note the set scores:

Andy Murray lost the first set 7-6. When you see this it tells you the set could have gone either way. It ended in a tie breaker.

The second set went to a tie breaker. Murray won 20-18. He was available to back at odds of 3.35 and higher. Not bad for a 1.08 shot!

The trade swings are not as spectacular as football, but focusing on the big boys in big tournaments will pay dividends.

Rest assured that I’ll delve into greater depth nearer to the next Grand Slam tournament.

Back to the football, have you been playing the ‘What if’ game I mentioned last week?

In order to reinforce the point, I’ll choose a few matches from tonight’s Daily Bulletin coupon and play the ‘What if’ game. You should try and go through this with each match in-play.

19:30 – Augsburg v RB Leipzig – 1.95 Leipzig

  • Augsburg are likely to score first and we are unlikely to see a shock here.
  • Both Teams to Score is a strong trend for both teams, so note that.
  • Lay any late draw.
  • Do not expect a 0-0.

Play the ‘What if’ game…

Knowing both teams are likely to score, what will you do IF the match is 0-0, or 1-0/0-1 or 2-0/0-2 for a period of time?

19:45 – Betis v Sociedad – 2.76 Sociedad

  • Lay any late draw and hope Sociedad continue to avoid the draw away. On form, I would have to be with Sociedad today, given their wins almost exclusively come versus teams 9th and lower.
  • As Betis have not scored more than one goal in a home match versus the top 9, lay them if they score first.

This match is simple…

What if there is a late draw? Sociedad have not had a draw away from home. What will you do if there is a late draw?

What if Betis score first? Knowing Betis have not scored that second goal in a home match versus top 9 teams, what will you do? I hope you will lay Betis and hope they continue to struggle scoring that second goal.

See you for the ‘What if’ game this weekend in the live chats.
