Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds)

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market , especially in BANKER matches.

4:30pm - HJK Helsinki v KTP  - 1.25 home

Standout Stats

  • These 2 last met in the League Cup 0-0 and 2-2. KTP must be new to the Finnish top flight.
  • Both teams have scored in all 3 of HJK's matches. 2 1-1 draws currently. This is a sequence which will end in the league. It has to really because HJK cannot afford to throw away 2 points this early in the season.
  • Draw, 0-1 loss, 0-0 in the last 3 matches for KTP. KTP have failed to score in their last 2 matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Far too early to be confident but this does look an ideal opportunity for HJK to record a win to end the 2 1-1 draws.
  • Not many stats to come up with other angles. Lay the late draw.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4:30pm - Olympiakos v Apollon Smirnis  - 1.12 home

Standout Stats

  • This is the Greek cup and Champions Olympiakos are in celebratory mood.
  • This is the Super League v Football League.
  • 0-3 for Olympiakos away in an earlier round of the cup v Apollon on 8th April 2015

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Olympiakos are the better team as shown by their easy away win. The market expects a replication of this at home, despite Olympiakos actually not needing a win if this is a 2 legged cup match.
  • 1.12 as you know suggests 3/4 goals and a possible win to nil, as well as a goal at least before halftime. Oly were 0-2 in the league recently in a match they did not need to win, and drew 2-2 so there is something still there!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6pm - Malmo FF v Halmstads  - 1.27 home

Standout Stats

  • 3 consecutive Malmo wins in head to heads.1-3, 3-1, 1-0
  • This is 2nd v 14th after only 5 matches in the Swedish top league.
  • Malmo are unbeaten this season, 3 wins and 2 draws. Malmo have scored 3 in their last 2 matches (and note in head to heads that they scored 3 goals in 2 of 3 head to heads.)
  • Malmo scored 2 goals in their last 2 matches before halftime.
  • Halmstads have only 1 win, their last match at home v Elfsborg 1-0. 2 consecutive clean sheets.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Far too early in this season of course for us to have a strong statistical look and take conclusions from these. What we can speculate on is Malmo scoring 3 goals in 2 head to heads and indeed scoring 3 goals in their last 2 matches.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score. Malmo have scored 2 goals in each of their last 2 matches before halftime.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7pm - Celta Vigo v Malaga  - 1.76 home

Standout Stats

  • 2 consecutive Malaga wins in the 2014 head to heads.
  • This is 9th v 7th in La Liga. Malaga are 6 points shy of 6th spot.

Celta Vigo

  • No draw in 4 at home
  • Conceded in their last 5 at home.
  • Recent home defeats were v Barcelona and Real Madrid.
  • Only 1 win v teams above them in the league was against Atl Madrid
  • All wins bar 2 all season have come v teams below them in the league.
  • Only 1 0-0 at home.

Malaga

  • 4 match losing streak away
  • No draw in 6 away
  • 3 recent score draws all came at home.
  • 5 losses in their last 6 away matches. 3 consecutive 1-0 defeats away before Real Madrid beat them 3-1. It suggests Malaga are tough to beat.
  • Only 1 win away v top 11 was a 0-1 v Barcelona
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Tough to call. Celta Vigo only tend to beat teams below them in the league. Malaga though have lost 5 of their last 6 matches, albeit 3 recent 1-0 losses away. They have only 1 win v top 11 away from home.
  • An argument can be made for opposing both sides which suggests we leave this match alone.
  • Do lay any late 0-0
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7pm - Eibar v Sevilla  - 1.63 away

Standout Stats

  • 0-0 in the sole recent head to head.
  • This is 16th v 5th in La Liga.
  • Eibar are 2 points clear of relegation. Sevilla are 2 points shy of 4th spot so plenty to play for.

Eibar

  • 12 losses in their last 14 matches and only 1 win.
  • They failed to score in 10 of those matches.
  • No draw in 11 at home.
  • All losses at home to top 4, and playing 5th today.
  • No 0-0 at home
  • Only 2 0-0's at halftime at home.
  • Conceded 9 goals at home in the last 15 minutes of the first half.

Sevilla

  • All losses this season have come away from home. They are unbeaten v 14th and lower away.
  • Scored in their last 11 away
  • No defeat in 9 matches.
  • Consistent goalscoring of late in that push for a top 4 spot, scoring 3-3-0-4-3-2-2-2-2-1-2 in recent matches. This includes 2 scored against Barcelona.
  • Scored and conceded in 7 of their last 8 away matches.
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Yet another match with both teams requiring points for different reasons.
  • Eibar are in dire form and failed to score in 10 of 14 matches. No draw in 11 at home suggests home win/ away win and that we can lay any late draw.
  • Lay any late 0-0.
  • Sevilla are scoring regularly and I would suggest 2 goals are within their compass.
  • If Eibar score first, lay them. Yes Sevilla are poor away from home but unbeaten v 14th and lower. I would favour Sevilla today
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7pm - Real Madrid v Almeria  - 1.09 home - BANKER REAL MADRID TO LEAD AT HALFTIME

Standout Stats

  • 8-5-4-4 scored by Real Madrid in the last 4 head to heads. This fits in perfectly with the 1.09 quote.
  • This is 2nd v 17th. Real Madrid are 5 points shy of Barcelona. Almeria are 2 points above the bottom 3 currently. A win for Almeria brings 2 other teams into the relegation dog fight.

Real Madrid

  • 9-2-3-3-4 scored in their last 5 matches, and 4 scored recently without Bale and Benzema.
  • 4 consecutive wins at home
  • No defeat in 14 at home
  • Scored in their last 16 at home
  • Only 1 loss at home.
  • Scored 2+ goals at home to 7th and lower.
  • 75% over 2.5 goals.
  • No 0-0
  • 53 goals scored at home

Almeria

  • 5 match losing streak away
  • Conceded in their last 9 away matches.
  • Won their last 2 home matches so fighting but a woeful away record.
  • Failed to score in 5 of their last 7 away matches.
  • Only 1 away draw
  • Losses away to all top 6 played currently.
  • Only 1 0-0 away
  • Conceded 16 goals in the first half hour of matches away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • 1.09 suggests 4+ goals today. So do head to head scorelines, so do Real Madrid's recent goalscoring. Modric, Benzema and Bale are out. Odegaard might get a start. A wonderfully talented 16 year old from Norway.
  • These odds suggest we lay the 0-0 halftime score.
  • Look at over 4.5 goals, particularly if tight early on.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:30pm - Young Boys v Aarau  - 1.45 home

Standout Stats

  • 3 score draws and a 3-2 win for Aarau in the last 4 head to heads.
  • This is 2nd v 10th of 10 in the Swiss top flight league.

Young Boys

  • 7 match winning streak at home.
  • No draw in 12 at home
  • 2 match clean sheet at home
  • Only 1 loss in 16 matches.
  • 1-1, 3-2 loss and a 1-1 already this season v Aarau.
  • Failed to score in 3 matches.
  • 2-4-4-4-3-3-4 scored in recent home matches.
  • 71% over 2.5 goals at home
  • Only 1 0-0 came away

Aarau

  • No draw in 3 away
  • Only 1 win in 18 matches.
  • That win came away
  • That was the sole win away.
  • Failed to score in 13 of their last 18 matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • The head to heads see Aarau as very competitive, even this season, with 2 score draws and a 3-2 win. That was one of only 4 wins this season.
  • 71% over 2.5 goals suggests that both sides could score today and perhaps Young Boys score 1 more than Aarau at least? Young Boys are riding a crest of 3/4 goals at home. I'll take a chance and lay Aarau if they are leading at any stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:30pm - Arminia Bielefeld v Wolfsburg  - 1.53 away

Standout Stats

  • This is the German Cup and there are no recent head to heads.
  • This is 1st in 3 Liga v 2nd in the Bundesliga. Wolfsburg cannot win the title now so the German Cup might take on some significance?

Arminia Bielefeld

  • A draw with Mgladbach which Arminia won on penalties, and a 3-1 win over Werder Bremen in the cup is good form for this lower league side.
  • 2 recent cup matches v top flight sides at home have gone to penalties.

Wolfsburg

  • Only 1 draw in the cup since March 2008.
  • Since 2012 in the cup, Wolfsburg were beaten only by Bayern Munich and Dortmund

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Wolfsburg are free from their push for 1st place in the Bundesliga is that enough to side with them today against an Arminia side who have taken 2 top flight sides to penalties, one of those 3rd placed Mgladbach.
  • This is therefore not clear cut and will be based on inplay stats. Sorry for not taking sides. You may want to back both teams to score - speculative because Wolfsburg have had a cracking season and could click.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:45pm - Juventus v Fiorentina  - 1.71 home

Standout Stats

  • Europa League, Seria A and Coppa Italia recent head to heads. In Seria A, it was a 0-0 recently.
  • This is 1st v 6th in Seria A. Juventus are 14 points clear of Lazio in 2nd spot. Lazio are playing bottom at home today. Fiorentina are 7 points shy of 4th spot.

Juventus

  • 6 matches remain, 18 points available and 14 points clear for Juventus.
  • Juventus have lost 2 of their last 3 matches, which came away.
  • 4 consecutive clean sheet wins at home.
  • 8 match winning streak at home.
  • Unbeaten at home
  • 2 1-1 draws v teams on either side of Fiorentina in the league.
  • 21 first half and 17 2nd half goals scored at home.
  • Scored first in 15 of 16 home matches.

Fiorentina

  • No win in 3 away
  • 3 match losing streak
  • v top 5 away, 4 losses conceding at least 2-4 goals.
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Juventus still need to remain business-like. 14 points should be enough for the title but is not mathematical fact.
  • Fiorentina struggle v top 5 sides away so I would favour Juventus today. If Juventus win today, this should be title done and dusted regardless of Lazio's result.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:45pm - AC Milan v Genoa  - 1.99 home

Standout Stats

  • 1-0, 1-0, 1-1 in home head to heads for Milan. Milan 1-2 away win and 1-0 Genoa win in the last 2 head to heads.
  • This is 10th v 8th in Seria A. Genoa are nearer to a top 5 spot here, only 3 points away.

AC Milan

  • No defeat in 6 at home. scored in their last 6 at home and conceded in their last 3 at home.
  • Scored and conceded in 5 of their last 6 at home.
  • Only 2 losses in 10 matches came away from home.
  • Only 4 losses at home v 1st, 11th, 15th and 17th
  • Only 1 loss at home v teams above them in the league.
  • No 0-0 at home
  • Scored first in 11 of 16 at home

Genoa

  • 2 match losing streak away
  • No win in 4 away
  • Scored in their last 5 matches
  • 3 wins in their last 4 matches.
  • Only 1 win in their last 8 away were a 0-1 v Lazio.
  • Only 1 win away v top 12 sides was that 0-1 v Lazio.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Genoa have the most to play for, a potential top 5 spot but they are poor away to top 12 sides. Milan are in decent enough form, only losing 2 of their 10 matches. I would lay Genoa if they score first but acknowledge that as this season comes to an end, matches like this do not greatly appeal.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:45pm - Sampdoria v Verona  - 1.68 home

Standout Stats

  • 5-0 and 1-3 to Sampdoria in the last 2 head to heads.
  • This is 5th v 12th in Seria A. Sampdoria are 6 points shy of 4th spot in Italy. Verona are 15 points clear of relegation.

Sampdoria

  • No defeat in 15 at home.
  • 3 consecutive clean sheets at home.
  • Have not conceded more than 1 goal in a single home game at home this year.
  • Unbeaten at home
  • All draws at home v 9th-13th, where Verona reside. These were score draws.
  • Scored first in 10 of 15 matches at home.

Hellas Verona

  • No win in 3 matches.
  • 2 match winning streak v Fiorentina and Sassuolo. The latter was a 3-2 win.
  • Lost away to all top 4 but unbeaten away v 6th-8th. Sampdoria are 5th!!!
  • Verona's last 2 away wins were care of 90th minute goals

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Emphatic wins for Sampdoria seems to back up the odds on quote today. Sampdoria have plenty to play for. Verona are safe from harm (ish).
  • If Verona win today, it is likely to be a 0-1 or a 1-2 with a very late goal. I will, though, lay Verona if they score first. Sampdoria have a habit of score drawing v mid table teams at home. Samp have not conceded more than 1 goal in a match at home this year which further backs this up.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:45pm - Lazio v Parma  - 1.28 home

Standout Stats

  • Both teams have scored in 6 of their last 7 matches.
  • 3 consecutive wins for Lazio.Those wins were one-goal-in-it.
  • This is 2nd v 20th in Seria A. Lazio are 14 points behind Juventus. Parma are 7 points shy of 2nd bottom. A bleak view.

Lazio

  • No defeat in 5 at home
  • Only Juventus have beaten Lazio in their last 10 matches.
  • Loss and a draw in their last 2 matches. I note Lazio were equally as short priced against Chievo and only drew 1-1.
  • All wins at home v 15th and lower saw Lazio scoring 3 or 4 goals.
  • 69% over 2.5 goals at home
  • Only 1 0-0 this season

Parma

  • No win in 13 away
  • Have conceded 7-2-2-3-3-0-4-1-2-2 in recent away matches.
  • Last 3 wins were 1-0 and came at home.
  • Failed to score away to top 4.
  • 19 first half and 16 second half goals conceded away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • 18 points remain so this is a must win really for Lazio in order to be in a position to take advantage of a momentous Juventus balls up in their last few matches.
  • Form wise, Parma will have trouble scoring and Lazio should replicate the 3 or 4 they scored against 15th and lower at home.  Their 1-1 at home to Chievo last time was a shock and needs to be put to bed by a must win today.
  • In the hope for goals, lay the 0-0 halftime score.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:45pm - Leicester v Chelsea  - 1.74 away

Standout Stats

  • 7 consecutive wins in head to heads for Chelsea.
  • Only 1 recent relevant head to head was a 2-0 Chelsea win.
  • This is 17th v 1st. Sunderland are 3rd bottom and Leicester are a precious point above the drop zone. A win for Leicester will bring Aston Villa into the relegation battle.
  • Chelsea are 10 points clear at the top.

Leicester

  • Talk about good timing. 4 consecutive wins v West Ham, West Brom, Swansea and Burnley.
  • 4 match winning streak overall.
  • Scored in their last 5 matches.
  • 0-1-1-0-1-0 conceded in recent home matches. 2 recent home wins were 0-1.
  • Not too bad v top 4 at home, 0-1 loss v 2nd, 1-1 v 3rd, 5-3 v 4th at home.
  • Only 2 0-0's at home
  • 5 defeats at home by a single goal suggests competitiveness.

Chelsea

  • Only 2 losses all season came away
  • No defeat in 13 overall and 6 away.
  • 3 consecutive clean sheets
  • 5 wins and a 0-0 in their last 6 away.
  • Failed to score in only 2 matches.
  • Only conceded more than 1 goal in a match in their last 13 matches.
  • Tight away v bottom 3, 0-0, 0-1 and 1-3.
  • Only 2 0-0's away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • 5 matches remain, 20 points are available so John Terry's pre-emptive celebrations at Arsenal were a little too early. It is matches like today's which could undo the work of the 0-0 at Arsenal.
  • Leicester are in cracking form and will not go down without a fight. This could be 0-0 for a while such is the need (greater for Leicester) for points.
  • With matches such as this, you could see a Hull v Liverpool type of result.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9pm - Villarreal v Atl Madrid  - 2.3 away

Standout Stats

  • Draw, Atl Madrid, Villareal in the last 3 head to heads. 1-1, 1-0, 0-1
  • This is 6th v 3rd in La Liga.2nd place is up for Villareal but will rely upon Villareal winning and Real Madrid drawing/losing. Villareal are 13 points shy of 5th spot.

Villareal

  • No win in 7 matches
  • Failed to score in their last 3 at home
  • 4 0-0's in their last 7 matches.
  • 0-0-0-0-1-0-0 scored in recent matches. What has gone wrong? Injured centre forward?
  • Failed to score in 6 of their last 7 matches.
  • All losses bar 1 at home v teams above them in the league. Meet another today.
  • Only 1 0-0 at home
  • 17 of 26 goals scored at home came 2nd half.

Atl Madrid

  • No defeat in 10 overall and in 5 away
  • 2 match winning streak
  • Scored and conceded in their last 2 away matches.
  • Only 1 loss in 15 matches.
  • Scored 2+ goals in their last 6 matches.
  • Only 2 wins away v 12th and higher so much more vulnerable on their travels.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • 0-0 must be in play in Villareal's current mood. The reason Atl Madrid are not shorter is because they are poorer away from home.
  • If Villareal continue to fail to score in 6 of their last 7 matches, then Atl merely need to score 1 and they win. Atl have scored 2 in each of their last 6 matches so I would favour the away side today.
  • I would not be surprised if this was 0-0 at halftime and Atl Madrid's run of 5 matches scoring 2 before halftime did end in their last match.
  • With Villareal losing away to teams above them, I will be oppposing them today should they lead at any stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
