Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches.

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised.

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are not the pre-market favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

4:30pm - FC Inter v KTP - 1.64 home

Standout Stats

  • Only 1 recent head to head win was a 4-1 for Inter.
  • This is 5th v 11th in the Finnish top league.

FC Inter

  • No defeat in 5 at home
  • Conceded in their last 6 matches.
  • Failed to score in 3 of their last 4 matches.
  • Only 2 clean sheets.
  • Scored in all home matches.
  • 10 home goals scored first half, one 2nd half.

KTP

  • No draw in 5 away matches
  • Only 2 wins this season.
  • 4 losses in their last 5 away matches.
  • Failed to score in their last 3 matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Only a handful of matches this season but the home side is the form side. Both sides have failed to score in their recent matches.
  • Inter have scored in all home matches, so do expect a goal from them, particularly if KTP score first.
  • Both teams could reasonably score today.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score. Inter have scored 10 first half goals at home.

4:30pm - HJK Helsinki v SJK- 1.75 home

Standout Stats

  • HJK, SJK and HJK wins in the last 3 head to heads. HJK have won the last 2 home head to heads 1-0 and 2-0.
  • This is 1st v 3rd in the Finnish Top flight league.

HJK

  • Do note that HJK have played 2 games more than SJK so if SJK win their 2 games in hand, they would be where HJK are now (if that doesn't muddle your brain!)
  • Only 1 loss this season.
  • 6 wins in their last 7 home matches.
  • Failed to score only twice.
  • Not prolific at home it must be said. Scored 1-1-3-1-1-2-1-2 resulting in 3 1-0 wins.
  • 5 0-0's at halftime at home. Scoring in all home matches so far.

SJK

  • 2 consecutive away clean sheets.
  • 1-0-1-0-0 conceded away this season. Lost 1-2 at home to HJK this season

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • My angle in here? Expect a possible 0-0 halftime score line. Expect HJK to score as they have scored in all home matches. SJK have been tight away from home but did concede 2 to HJK at home quite recently so are vulnerable to this side today.
  • Lay any late 0-0

16:30 UK Haka v VIFK - 1.28 home (William Hill odds)

Standout Stats

  • No head to heads.
  • This is 5th v 9th in the Finnish Ykkonen.

Haka

  • 2 match winning streak at home.
  • 2 consecutive 1-0 home wins.
  • Only 2 defeats, and lost their last match, an away match.
  • 3 clean sheets in their last 4 matches.

VIFK

  • No win in 4 away matches.
  • 3 match losing streak away
  • Conceded in their last 8 matches.
  • 5 losses in their last 7 matches. Only 1 win all season.
  • 3 consecutive away losses conceding 2-3-5.
  • No clean sheets.
  • No 0-0 at halftime in the last 5 matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • No head to heads so we only have recent form. We have a home team winning at home, albeit 1-0, v an away side conceding 2-3-5 in their last 3 away matches.
  • It makes it logical that we are with Haka.  Haka could win to nil. VIFK are likely to concede as they have done in all matches. So take that into account.

7:45pm - Germany U21 v Serbia U21 - 1.58 home

Standout Stats

  • No head to heads.
  • Germany U21 have won their last 4 UEFA matches. They kept 4 consecutive clean sheets and scored 2-8-3-2
  • Serbia u21 beat Spain u21 1-2 and drew with Spain u21 0-0. They lost 3-2 to Italy.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • When there are no head to heads, it's always tricky to weigh up the 2 teams. On form, Germany u21, in this competition, have recently been winning to nil and scoring 2+ goals. I would lay Serbia u21 if they score first and they may score if they can score 2 against Italy u21 and score and beat Spain u21.

9pm - England (W) v Colombia (W) - 1.63 home

Standout Stats

  • So far in this World Cup, England women lost 1-0 v France. England beat Mexico 2-1.
  • Colombia women drew 1-1 v Mexico and beat France 0-2. This latter result was a major shock. France women were 1.12 favourites.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Spanner in the works  - Colombia women beating France women. I would speculatively lay England women if they score first in order to lay them at lower odds.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9pm - Mexico (W) v France (W)  - 1.22 away

Standout Stats

  • Mexico women tend to perform poorly in the World Cup. No wins in 1999, no wins in 2011 and no wins in 2015. Mexico drew 1-1 with a Colombia which beat France 0-2.
  • Mexico lost 2-1 v England.
  • France had a very poor 2011 World Cup and in 2015 they beat England 1-0 and lost 0-2 to Colombia. As I said above, Colombia beat a 1.12 shot.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I am afraid that I cannot trust France women given their 2011 World cup record and shock loss v Colombia. Yes, it could have been an anomoly but France are far too short. I would lay France women if they scored first. It would be a low odds lay and liabilities would be low.
