DRT Daily Research Bulletin, May 12, 2015

Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

4pm - Ferencvaros v Honved - 1.46 home

Standout Stats

  • This is the Hungarian Cup and not a match I want to prioritise. 2-3 in the Cup in November 2014 saw Ferencvaros win with a 90th minute penalty ( one of 3 penalties in the match)

5pm - Mjondalen v Rosenborg  - 1.43 away

Standout Stats

  • Mjondalen I backed at 17/1 during the live chat on Saturday as well as laying their opponents at 1.29. Mjondalen were 0-2 down and won 4-3 from memory. My betfair account was very happy. These types of trades surface a lot when you visit a live chat. That said, live chats will be winding down for the summer.
  • This is 10th v 1st in Norway after only 7 matches.
  • 3 draws, 2 defeats and then that amazing 4-3 win in Mjondalen's recent league matches. Both teams have scored in 5 of their last 6 matches.

  • There has been a goal at least before halftime in all Rosenborg matches this season.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Both teams to score today looks likely. On this occasion Mjondalen may not recover from 0-2 down today. Rosenborg look solid albeit in only a few matches this Norwegian season.. At their best, they could score 3 goals today.

Standout Stats

  • 5-3 to Balikesirspor in the last head to head. This is 12th v 18th in the Turkish Super Lig. Balik are bottom and remain bottom 2 with a win.

Kasimpasa

  • Scored and conceded in their last 5 home matches and last 8 matches overall.
  • No draw in 7 matches.
  • 2-2-3-5-5-1-3-4 conceded in recent matches and they're 1.52 favourites! Are Balik playing with just one player?
  • Only home losses v top 4 this season.
  • Wins at home v 15th and 16th.
  • Both teams have scored in 2/3rds of home matches
  • Only 1 0-0 at home

Balikesirspor

  • Scored and conceded in their last 9 matches and conceded in their last 15.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 6 away matches.
  • Only 1 win in 15 matches.
  • Only 2 clean sheets all season
  • Only 1 away win v 16th
  • All score draws away v 11th-15th inclusive.
  • No 0-0

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Lay any late 0-0
  • Both teams to score must have a great chance.
  • I will back 2-2 pre-match and hope Balikessirspor manage to draw again v teams 11th-15th away.
  • In expectation of goals, lay the 0-0 halftime score.

5:45pm - Mersin Idman Yurdu v Galatasaray  - 1.53 away

Standout Stats

  • 3-1-3-3 scored by Galatasary in the last 4 head to heads, 3 wins and a 1-1 draw. If they were expected to comfortably score 3 goals today, I would expect the odds to be a lot shorter.
  • This is 7th v 1st in the Turkish Super Lig. With Besiktas drawing , Galatasary are now 1 point clear of Fenerbahce and 2 points clear of Besiktas.

Mersin

  • 1 match winning streak at home.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 5 matches.
  • Conceded in their last 10 matches and last 8 away.
  • Unbeaten in 5 matches.
  • Not played top 2 at home yet, lost against them away in 1 goal-in-it matches.
  • Both teams scored in 71% home matches.

Galatasary

  • 7 away without a draw.
  • 3 match winning streak
  • Scored in their last 7 matches and 3 consecutive clean sheets
  • 2 1-0 wins in 3 matches. Doing just enough.
  • Failed to score in only 1 of their last 20 matches.
  • Not too good away v top 8 with only 2 wins v 3rd and 5th, losses v 2nd, 4th and 6th
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • if Galatasary win it could be 1-2, 0-1, 0-2. Mersin have a tendency to score and concede so that would be a worry.
  • It's a must win for Galatasary and I suppose that is my angle in today. It's critical that Galatasary take advantage of Besiktas drawing.
  • Lay any late draw here. Do expect Galatasary to score at some stage

7:45pm - B Munich v Barcelona - 2.7 home and away

Standout Stats

  • The market hasn't got a clue who will win this, and neither do I. It was all looking rather good for bayern Munich away at Barcelona in the first round. 0-0 to the 75th minute and still a chance of an away goal.
  • Yet 3 late goals have changed all of that.
  • This is simple. Bayern Munich must score 3 goals without conceding to remain on parity in this Champions League Match. If Barcelona score, well it should be game over.
