I will do a review/preview video at DRT Facebook. The Swedish Allsvenskan looks a little difficult today. In-play stats please! They proved very effective yesterday.

UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE

17:55 - Sevilla v Roma - 2.38 Sevilla

  • This looks like a one off leg, like the Inter v Getafe match.
  • Sevilla have had a history of taking this competition seriously but loss, draw, draw last 3 matches in the Europa League.
  • Sevilla are unbeaten at home in the Europa League since April 2014! 0-0 last home match.
  • Only 2 wins in 7 for Roma in the Europa League. Loss, Draw, Loss, Win, Draw away.
  • That Sevilla form is amazing at home. Will it continue today? Will they remain unbeaten?

17:55 - Leverkusen v Rangers - 1.69 Leverkusen

  • Leverkusen impressed in recent Europa League matches with 2 wins v Porto home and away and a 1-3 away win v Rangers. Their first goal was a penalty, and they polished off with an 88th minute goal, so the 1-3 scoreline was a little flattering.
  • Leverkusen are unbeaten in 7 at home in the Europa League but scored 1-1-2 goals last 3 at home.
  • Rangers must score the first 2 goals here and still that will not be enough on the away goal rule. They must score 3 away goals without reply to go through in the quickest way.

20:00 - Wolves v Olympiakos - 1.83 Wolves

  • Having failed to secure a top 6 spot, Wolves will have to try and win the Europa League in order to keep an interest in European Club Competition next season.
  • Olympiakos scored first in the first leg despite a 28th minute red card. Wolves equalised in the 67th minute.  So the form is a little clouded there.
  • Wolves at home have not conceded that 2nd goal in Europa League. 3 consecutive wins to nil at home 2, the last 2 were 4-0 wins as well. Solid stuff.
  • Olympiakos are back to their dominant best domestically. Their form in the Europa League is patchy but they did beat Arsenal 1-0 at home and go through in extra time in the second leg.
  • For me it's tough to read this Olympiakos Europa League form as it is pattern-less. Will Wolves be as defensively strong as they have been in the past at home? If so, consider laying Olympiakos if Oly score first tonight.

20:00 - FC Basel v Eintracht Frankfurt - 2.1 Frankfurt

  • Just note 2 consecutive 0-0's for Basel domestically is a sequence I would be keen to see end this evening in the Europa League.
  • Emphatic 0-3 win away at Frankfurt first leg has Frankfurt needing to score the first 3 goals this evening to retain parity. 6 wins in 7 matches for FC Basel in the Europa League, 4 consecutive clean sheets too.
  • 6 consecutive home wins for Basel in the Europa League - 3 clean sheets in 4 matches.
  • Frankfurt have conceded 2-1-3-1-2-3 goals in the Europa League. 6 consecutive matches with both teams scoring ended with that 0-3 Basel away win.
  • 2-1, 1-2, 2-2 in their last 3 away matches for Frankfurt.
  • I would certainly be keen to see this 0-0 sequence for Basel end. Basel's home form in the Europa League bears respect. Frankfurt matches historically tend towards over 2.5 goals.

SWEDISH ALLSVENSKAN - 18:00

  • What a tough looking coupon today compared with yesterday's more readable matches.

Mjallby v Sirius - 2.76 Sirius

  • A market suggesting a toughie today, and look at the odds in the Hacken and AIK matches. Not very appealing Swedish coupon today.

Mjallby - 9th

  • 3 losses and 2 score draws last 5 matches.
  • Only 2 clean sheets.
  • Conceded last 6 and last 5 at home.
  • No 0-0 at halftime at home.
  • Beat 5th and 7th at home and play 6th today.
  • 6/8 goals scored at home came 2nd half.

Sirius - 6th

  • Can score when they fancy it. 2-2-2-2-2-0-0-4-1-2-3 goals scored in recent matches. Failed to score in away matches.
  • No win in 4 away.
  • Only 2 clean sheets.
  • Only away defeat was a 1-0 v 11th.

Conclusions

  • The market cannot split these 2 sides.
  • I would note Mjallby's 2nd half scoring. Sirius's is up to 60+% too so perhaps lay any 2nd half 0-0.
  • I don't have a stronger fancy here.

Kalmar FF v Orebro - 1.99 Kalmar

Kalmar - 16th and bottom

  • Only 2 wins all season yet favourite today.
  • 6 consecutive losses and 3 consecutive draws recently.
  • Only 3 clean sheets.
  • No win in 5 at home.
  • Not beaten a top 11 side home or away.
  • Only scored 2 goals once at home v 2nd bottom.
  • 6/7 goals conceded at home came 2nd half.

Orebro - 10th

  • Only 3 wins.
  • 3 losses and a draw last 4 away.
  • Conceded last 6 away.
  • Only played 1 of 8th and lower away, that was a draw.
  • 2/2 draws v the bottom 3.

Conclusions

  • Only 2 wins plays only 3 wins. I cannot trust an odds-on favourite with only 2 wins all season. Another watching brief. Do note Kalmar's strong 2nd half scoring.

IFK Goteborg v Ostersunds FK - 1.58 IFK

IFK Goteborg - 13th

  • Only 2 wins.
  • 4 draws and a loss last 5 matches.
  • 2 recent home losses came v last season's 1st and 2nd.
  • Only 2 clean sheets.
  • All defeats this season v the top 4.
  • 5/7 goals scored at home came 2nd half.

Ostersunds - 14th

  • 4 consecutive draws,
  • Win, Win, Draw, Draw away latest.
  • 6 0-0's at halftime last 7 matches.
  • Scored 2 goals only once home and away v 6th and lower.
  • Wins away did come v 12th and 16th.
  • All 4 goals scored away came 2nd half.

Conclusions

  • Very short odds for a team with only 2 wins but I suppose the market has latched onto the fact that the only sides to beat IFK this season are top 4 sides.
  • Both sides have strong 2nd half scoring. You may want to back 0-0 pre match on that basis to cash out as late as you dare if this pattern continues on into today.
  • It is tough to trust 2 win 1.58 shots as I say. Watching brief for me. Ostersunds 4 consecutive draws might suggest that they cannot hold onto a lead?

Hacken v Norrkoping - 2.72 Norrkoping

Hacken - 5th

  • Only 2 losses came away from home.
  • 4 wins and a draw last 5 at home.
  • Failed to score in only 2 matches.
  • 5 consecutive home clean sheets.
  • 2 0-0's at halftime at home.
  • 1-1 at home v 1st and 3-1 loss away v 3rd.
  • 10 of 15 goals scored at home came 2nd half.

Norrkoping - 2nd

  • 2 consecutive draws.
  • 1-1, 4-2 loss, 3-3 draw last 3 away matches.
  • Scored in every match.
  • Scored and conceded last 5 away.
  • Scored last 12 matches.
  • No 0-0 at halftime away.

Conclusions

  • Lay the 0-0 in the halftime score market.
  • The market suggests this is tough to call. Hacken are strong defensively. 5 consecutive home clean sheets plays a Norrkoping loving to score....and concede. Norrkoping have scored last 12 matches. Watching brief again.

AIK v Elfsborg - 2.62 AIK

AIK - 11th

  • Only 1 win in 9 matches.
  • Only 1 home win.
  • Failed to score last 3 matches.
  • 2-2 at home v 1st, loss v 2nd and loss v 3rd at home.

Elfsborg - 4th

  • 2 consecutive 3-3 draws.
  • 5-3-3 goals scored last 2 matches.
  • Only 1 loss.
  • Failed to score in only 2 matches.
  • Unbeaten home and away v 6th and lower.
  • 6/9 goals scored away came 1st half.

Conclusions

  • I would fancy the Elf on their goalscoring potential and unbeaten record v 6th and lower but must respect the odds which suggest this is a wide-open match.

SWISS CUP

17:00 - Luzern v Young Boys - 1.49 Young Boys

  • 2-2 and 2-0 Luzern in the last 2 home head to heads.
  • 4-0 win for Luzern in the Cup v Young Boys in March 2019 at home.
  • When the market speaks positively about the Young Boys, they tend to win but recently, in the league at least, sees them winning 1-0 only.

17:00 - Rapperswil-Jona v Sion - 1.25 Sion

  • Gap in the league is always a positive for me. Jona from a lower league.
  • Recently, Sion's only draws in the cup have come v Super League sides.
