Another day of internationals and unlikely we'll see any DRTs but you never know. I would look perhaps to Germany finding life difficult. They have been poor this campaign but then so have Belgium, who sprung to life at similar odds yesterday . What I do on low-key weekends like this is to get www.futbol24.com's app up on my phone, select all of these matches below and wait. My phone vibrates with a goal. I want something like a Latvia opener v the Czechs yesterday.

Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

  • Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

  • Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

  • Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

  • Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds)

  • Lay the underdog  scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market , especially in BANKER matches.

17:00 UK Romania v Faroe Islands - 1.1 home BANKER

Standout Stats

  • These 2 last met in 2009.
  • This is 1st v 5th in a weak looking Group F. If a team like Northern Ireland are 2nd in the group, then it is weak.

Romania

  • Wins against Greece, Finland and Northern Ireland came to nil.A 1-1 draw with Hungary.
  • In their last 2 2-0 wins, Romania scored all goals in the 2nd half.

Faroe Islands.

  • 1-3 loss to Finland, 2-0 loss to Northern Ireland, 0-1 loss to Hungary and 0-1 win v Greece. The latter is eyecatching but may relate the state of Greece rather than Faroe Islands.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Romania have been impressive enough in this poor group to suggest another narrow win today, 2-0 or thereabouts and an unlikely match for a DRT. These shorties this International campaign have been generally reliable. Look at the Czechs last night. A late equaliser against Latvia was superb. I layed under 1.5 goals when Latvia led 1-0 and layed Latvia at odds of 3.2 in the match odds market.
  • We can rely on Romania should the Faroes unexpectedly score first.

Standout Stats

  • This is 3rd v 5th in Group I and with Portugal and Denmark under-performing Albania are sniffing a chance here.

Albania

  • 0-1 win v Portugal, 1-1 draw with Denmark and 3-0 loss to Serbia

Armenia

  • 2-1 loss to Denmark, 1-1 draw with Serbia, 1-0 loss to Portugal sees an element of competitiveness.
  • Armenia scored first v Denmark and Serbia

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • It seems as if we can lay Armenia if they score first. They have a record of conceding after going ahead already in this euro qualifier campaign.

17:00 UK Georgia v Germany - 1.14 away BANKER

Standout Stats

  • These 2 have not met since 2006
  • Like a lot of these international friendlies, I am not too sure that research is time well spent.
  • Quite simply, Germany are the best team of the 2 by a country mile.
  • 1.14 odds suggests a) a goal at least before halftime b) Germany scoring 3/4 goals minimum and a possible win to nil.
  • Let the above be your guide therefore.
  • Team news is important for Germany in particular.
  • Germany's last 2 away friendly wins were 0-1 v England and Spain so Georgia really are within their compass.

17:00 UK Scotland v Gibraltar - 1.01 home BANKER WIN TO NIL/CLEAN SHEET

Standout Stats

  • Welcome to Gibraltar, the new whipping boys to add to the list - Andorra, Monaco, Leichtenstein, Luxembourg et al.7-7-3-4 conceded by Gibraltar in their last 4 matches, all without scoring. These were Euro qualifiers.
  • If you read the research on Wednesday's matches, you'd know in what healthy form Scotland are in, particularly at home.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • A win to nil, and a decent win to nil, looks on the cards this evening. Any DRT therefore should revolve around the timing of the first goal. If 0-0 at halftime, for instance, lay the under 4.5 goals. We do, though, expect a comfortable lead by Scotland by halftime.

Standout Stats

  • These 2 last met in friendlies in 2013, 2-0 win for Ireland and a 0-0.
  • 2.62 odds tell you that this match is too tight to call but there may be something in the stats.
  • Poland lead Group D with 10 points and Ireland have 7 points. So all to play for , for the Irish.

Ireland

  • A 1-2 away win v Georgia, 7-0 win at home v Gibraltar, 1-1 away draw v Germany and 1-0 loss away to Scotland. The draw with Germany was care of a 90th minute goal.

Poland

  • 7-0 win against Gibraltar, 2-0 win over Germany, 2-2 with Scotland and 0-4 win over Georgia. It looks as if the Polish are the more consistent scorers of the 2 teams today.
  • 2 clean sheets away for Poland v Gibraltar and Georgia.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • The market tells you this could go either way. I think if Ireland score first, Poland could score and equalise such is their consistency this Euro campaign.

Standout Stats

  • This is 3rd v 6th in Group F. Hungary are in with a great chance of qualification. Greece have only 1 point.

Hungary

  • 1-2 loss to Northern Ireland, 1-1 v Romania, and 1-0 wins v Faroes and Finland. If Hungary can only score a maximum of 1 goal, then 1-0 is the best they can hope for, as you can see.

Greece

  • Home losses 0-1 v Romania, Faroes, 0-2 loss at home v Northern Ireland and 1-1 v Finland away. More relatively tight matches for Greece albeit without a win.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Back 0-0 pre-match and hope this is as tight as these 2 teams' encounters in qualifiers have been to date? I would lay off if 0-0 at halftime.
  • A totally under-whelming match this one. I would lay any very late 0-0 as both teams do need points.

  • This is 2nd v 4th in Group I. Portugal have the advantage of 2nd place but a game in hand over Denmark.

  • 0-1 loss at home to Albania, 0-1 win over Denmark, and 1-0 win v Armenia. A team with Nani, Ronaldo, Almeida, Moutinho you'd have thought they'd be a little more emphatic.

Serbia

  • 1-1 draw with Armenia, 3-0 win v Albania, and 1-3 loss to Denmark so far this Euro campaign.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Portugal are wholly under whelming but are expected not to lose tonight in what could be another cagey "nick a 1-0" match.
