Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signaled matches.

Look out for a 0-0 at halftime in matches where we expected goals. Augsburg v Werder Bremen was a ready recent example. Research suggested over 2.5 goals (3+ goals expected). The match was 0-0 at halftime. Where are the goals? Back over 2.5 goals at enhanced odds for the 2nd half. 3 goals were scored in this case.

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialized.

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are not the pre-market favorites. The home team is usually galvanized by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

I back BANKER bets with level stakes, re-calculating the level stakes every 20 bets and bet with that new level stake amount for the next 20 bets.

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

Killer stats are in bold italics. MOTD signals any match(es) I would prioritize my focus on if I had to choose just one or two matches in order to shorten the work load. These are the Matches of The Day. The DRT stripped Bulletin is absent today.

The only match I would have a strong focus on today would be the Besiktas match. 2 matches in hand over Fenerbahce and playing a team today who lose v top 9, I expect a Besiktas win. Anything else? Well you know what to do!

5:30pm - Asteras Tripolis v AEK - 2.72 away

Standout Stats

  • 0-1 Asteras in November 2015.
  • This is 6th v 2nd in the Greek Super League.

Asteras Tripolis

  • No defeat in 4 at home.
  • 2 consecutive home clean sheets.
  • Failed to score in 5 of their last 6 matches.
  • 4 clean sheets in their last 6 matches.
  • Not played the top 3 at home but beat 4th, and 5th 2-1.

AEK Athens

  • No win in 2 away matches.
  • Only 5 defeats all season.
  • Failed to score in only 5 matches.
  • 5 clean sheets in the last 7 matches.
  • Not beaten top 8 teams away from home.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • The market tells us this is a tight match. Based on recent form, the defences are clearly on top. These 2 teams have been keeping clean sheets.
  • This match is difficult to get an angle into. I would think about backing 0-0 pre match and hoping the clean sheets are on top, but then Asteras are yet to play the top 3 so we don't know how they set up v the big boys. They have 2-1 wins at home v 4th and 5th.
  • AEK Athens are poor away from home v top 8 teams which adds to complications.

6pm - Besiktas v Eskisehirspor - 1.31 home - MOTD - Eskisehirspor do tend to lose home and away to top 9 teams so it would be a shock were they to lead today.

Standout stats

  • 1-0 Besiktas, 1-1 Draw, 1-0 Eski and 1-2 Besiktas in the most recent matches.
  • This is 2nd v 18th in the Turkish Super Lig.
  • Besiktas have 2 matches in hand of 1st placed Fenerbahce and 5 points difference to make up. This makes this match really a must-win.

  • Only 3 losses all season and lost their last match v Fenerbahce.
  • Failed to score in only 2 matches.
  • 4 clean sheets in their last 6 matches.
  • 5 match home winning streak.
  • 4 consecutive home clean sheets.
  • Wins to nil at home to 16th and 17th.
  • 6 0-0's at halftime at home - 50% of home matches.
  • 17 of 24 goals scored at home came 2nd half.
  • Scored first in 8/12 at home.

  • Scored and conceded their last 6 away matches.
  • Conceded in their last 11 away matches.
  • Only 5 wins this season.
  • Only 1 clean sheet.
  • No 0-0 at halftime in the last 15 matches.
  • All defeats home and away v top 9.
  • Only 3 0-0's at halftime away.
  • 23 goals conceded away and only 8 scored.
  • Opponents score first in 7/11 away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • This is a must-win for Besiktas today and they play a team who have lost all of their matches home and away v top 9 teams.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score based on Eski's recent record.
  • Eskisehirspor are highly likely to concede today, having kept only 1 clean sheet all season. If the match is 0-0, fear not as Besiktas have scored 17 of their 24 goals in the 2nd half.
  • With 4 consecutive clean sheets at home, there is a chance of a possible win to nil for Besiktas. 2-0 starting point.

7pm - Jong PSV v Fortuna Sittard - 1.82 home

Standout Stats

  • 1-1, 1-3 PSV, 1-1 in the last 3 head to heads.
  • This is 14th v 17th in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.

Jong PSV

  • No defeat in 4 at home.
  • Only 5 clean sheets.
  • Failed to score in 2 of their last 3 matches.
  • Scored and conceded in all home matches v 10th and lower. Those matches totalled 7, 5, 7, 4 goals.
  • 69% over 2.5 goals at home.
  • Only 1 0-0 at home.

Fortuna Sittard

  • No draw in 12 away matches and in 8 matches overall.
  • Conceded in their last 4 away matches.
  • Only 6 clean sheets all season.
  • Failed to score in 5 of their last 8 matches.
  • Only 1 away draw was a 2-2.
  • v 13th and lower away from home, we have seen 4-4-3-4 total goals.
  • No 0-0.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Lay any late draw here as Fortuna keep avoiding the draws away fromhome.
  • Although both sides have failed to score in recent matches, there is a chance that we could see both teams scoring today. This has happened in all matches at home v 10th and lower.
  • Despite Fortuna failing to score in 5 of their last 8 matches, they do have a good scoring record v 13th and lower.
  • If this match is 0-0 for a while, I would consider backing over 3.5 goals at enhanced odds.

7:30pm - Espanyol v Rayo Vallecano - 2.02 home

Standout Stats

  • 2-2 and 1-1 in the last 2 home head to heads. Earlier this season, Rayo won 3-0 at home.
  • This is 15th v 17th in the Spanish La Liga.

  • No draw in 6 matches and in 3 at home.
  • Only 2 wins in their last 11 matches came within their last 3 matches.
  • Have had a bad habit conceding recently - conceded 2-3-2-6-5-2-0-2-3.
  • Espanyol are playing a team from a section of the league where they get results at home. v 12th and under at home, Espanyol have 4 wins to nil (3 were 1-0), 2 1-1 draws and a 1-2 loss.

Rayo Vallecano

  • No win in 11 away matches.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 8 away matches.
  • Rayo, you'll remember, were the 2-2 kings. 6 2-2 scorelines in their last 10 matches. They have amazingly had 4 consecutive 2-2 away matches, part of a run of 5 matches scoring 2 goals away out of their last 6.
  • Like Espanyol, Rayo are entering a section of the league where they tend to do their winning. In fact, all of Rayo's wins, bar 1, has come v 14th and lower home and away.
  • v 10th and lower away from home, Rayo have 4 2-2 scorelines, a 1-1, a 0-1 win and a 2-1 loss v Levante.
  • Only 2 0-0's away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I am not sure I agree with the market today and here is why. Espanyol recently have been conceding 2 goals with regularity. Rayo have scored 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 away matches recently.
  • Both sides are playing a team they should feel confident about taking points from.  This makes it difficult to take sides today.
  • From a value perspective, and hoping that Rayo continue to score 2 goals, I would lay Espanyol if Espanyol scored first. I acknwoledge their 3 1-0 wins v lower teams at home but also note how strong Rayo have been goal-scoring, albeit without winning.
  • With Rayo, you may like the rather obvious 2-2 correct score opening position until the sequence ends. 4 consecutive 2-2 scorelines now away from home.
