Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds)

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market , especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

1:30pm - Arsenal Tula v FK Krasnodar  - 1.57 away

Standout Stats

  • 3-0 to krasnador in their last head to head.
  • This is 15th of 16 v 2nd in the Russian Premier League. A surprise for me that they are 2nd. 9 points and a game in hand away from Zenit. Kraznador keep their title hopes alive with a win today. 6 point gap only is far more easily overcome mentally than a 9 point gap.
  • Arsenal Tula catapult out of the bottom 4 with a win today. As we have seen this weekend, this is yet another bottom v top match. We have seen a couple of surprises with bottom v top this weekend, the latest being Man Utd 0- West Brom 1.

Arsenal Tula

  • Only 2 draws this season.
  • No draw in 15 matches and in 6 at home.
  • 6 of Tula's 7 wins this season have been 1-0. You'll recall this when I researched the match v Zenit which was a 1-0 Zenit match.
  • Only 2 home wins.
  • 3 1-0 wins in their last 4 matches.
  • All defeats at home v top 4 and all defeats home and away v top 4.
  • Only 1 0-0 at home
  • Scored only 1 goal in the first half at home.
  • Opponents have scored first in 10 of 13 home matches.

FC Krasnador

  • No defeat in 8 matches and in 4 away
  • 6 wins in their last 8 matches.
  • Failed to score in only 4 matches.
  • Only 1 0-0 in their last 14 away matches at halftime
  • Only 2 losses away v 1st and 10th.
  • 2 wins v 15th and 16th were 3-0.
  • 3 wins and a 1-1 draw in their last 5 away.
  • Only 1 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Krasnador won 3-0 in a recent head to head and solid performance v bottom 5 suggests Krasnador will not lose today. If they do lose it will be 1-0 most likely. Lay Arsenal Tula if they score first today, but perhaps back 1-0 correct score as an insurance bet because 1-0 keeps cropping up when Tula win.
  • Krasnador have been emphatic v bottom 2 this season.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score here although Arsenal tula are likely to be tough to beat. Delay entry to get shorter odds to lay.
  • Lay any late 0-0 as a 0-0 does not suit either side.

3pm - Dinamo Kiev v Hoverla  - 1.07 home

Standout Stats

  • 7 consecutive wins for Kiev, scoring 2-3-4-2-3-2-4 .
  • This is 1st v 12th of 14 in the Ukrainian top flight.

Dinamo Kiev

  • Unbeaten this season
  • Failed to score in only 3 matches.
  • Scored 2+ goals in 8 of their last 10 matches.
  • Clean sheets at home v 9th and lower.
  • 80% clean sheets at home.
  • Only 2 0-0's at home

  • Both teams have scored in 70% of their away matches.
  • No wins home and away v top 7.0-4 v Kiev this season
  • Conceded in their last 10 away and last 10 overall.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 5 matches.
  • Only 3 wins all season.
  • Unbeaten in their last 2 away but losses v 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Kiev, like Porto yesterday, have this won without stepping on the pitch, with 7 consecutive head to head wins, scoring either 2/3/4 goals. They won 4-0 earlier this season away from home.
  • Look for 4+ goals today for Kiev. 1.07 as you know indicates at least a goal before halftime. Lay the 0-0 halftime score.

3pm - Dundalk v Bray  - 1.15 home BANKER

Standout Stats

  • 0-3 Dundalk, 5-1 Dundalk, 1-1 draw in the last 3 head to heads.
  • This is 1st v 11th of 12. 10 matches only played.

  • 8 wins and 2 draws this season. 7 of the wins were to nil.
  • Dundalk have scored in all matches this season.
  • 5 clean sheet wins at home, either 1-0 or 3-0. 4 wins were 3-0. This fits in with Dundalk's 1.15 odds today

  • No defeat in 2 away
  • Only 2 wins this season.
  • Failed to score in 8 of 10 matches.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • This looks rather straightforward. We have an away side who are having real trouble scoring against a home side picking up a nice amount of 3-0 wins.
  • This fits in well with a 1.15 quote which suggests 3/4 goals and a possible win to nil, as well as a goal at least before halftime (lay the 0-0 halftime score).

4pm - CSKA Moscow v Ural  - 1.34 home

Standout Stats

  • 2-2, 1-0 CSKA win, 3-4 CSKA win in recent head to heads. It's tight!
  • This is 3rd v 14th in the Russian Premier League. A chance for CSKA to go within a point of 2nd. Ural get out of the bottom 4 with a win today.

CSKA Moscow

  • Only 1 win in their last 5 matches.
  • No win in the last 2 at home.
  • Failed to score in only 4 matches.
  • Important to make this distinction though. CSKA have lost all bar 1 match this season v the top 6.
  • All wins at home v 7th and lower. All clean sheets at home v 7th-12th inclusive.
  • Have not conceded more than 2 goals at home v teams below them at home.
  • 4-2-4-4-2 scored v bottom 3 home and away
  • No 0-0
  • Only 1 0-0 at halftime at home

  • Have scored in their last 4 away and conceded in their last 2 away
  • Only 2 draws all season
  • Only 3 wins in 10 matches were to nil.
  • No wins away v top 7  - all defeats bar a 1-1 draw with Krasnador.
  • No 0-0

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Head to heads have been tight. Will this remain so? CSKA are in poor form, but it needs context. They tend only to lose to to 6 and so must be favoured today and are likely to win today. Ural have only draws home and away v Krasnador as the only none loss v top 4 home and away.
  • At their best, CSKA score 2-4 goals today.
  • Lay Ural if they score first.

5pm - Volyn v Shakhtar  - 1.12 away

Standout Stats

  • 15 Shakhtar wins in their last 16 head to heads.
  • This is 8th v 3rd in the Ukrainian top flight.
  • For Shakhtar, a win takes them 2nd and within 2 points of Kiev before the Kiev result is known.

  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 at home. Scored in their last 7 at home
  • 2 match losing streak at home
  • Only 1 win in their last 7 matches.
  • 3 losses in their last 4 matches.
  • Only 4 clean sheets this season
  • All defeats home and away v top 3. 6-2 to Shakhtar earlier this season.
  • 67% over 2.5 goals at home.
  • No 0-0 at home

  • 2 match winning streak away
  • No defeat in 11 and in 5 away
  • Scored in their last 6 away and conceded in their last 3 away
  • Only 3 defeats this season, 2 were 1-0 v 1st and 4th and 2-1 loss away to 7th (a Donetsk derby?)
  • All wins , home and away, v 8th and lower.
  • 2-4-2-6-4 scored in recent aways
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • The odds are right here looking at Shakhtar's goals scored in all wins v 8th and lower. 5 goals is within their grasp. A great DRT match therefore. With Volyn scoring and conceding recently, if they score first, back Shakhtar or even 1-4, 1-5 Shakhtar correct score (probably with a bookie).
  • If Volyn score first first half, back Shakhtar in the HALFTIME market.
  • Lay any late 0-0
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score

6pm - IFK Goteborg v Falkenbergs  - 1.28 home

Standout Stats

  • 1-0 and 1-2 Goteborg in 2014 head to heads. Tight matches.
  • This is 4th v 11th in the Swedish top flight. Goteborg go 2nd with a win today (based on goals scored by Goteborg)

IFK Goteborg

  • Only 6 matches played so limited form to work with. Only loss this season was v Malmo. 4 wins and a 0-0 in the rest of the matches.

  • Only 1 win, in contrast with Goteborg's only one loss this season.
  • 2 consecutive 3-1 defeats away. Only win came v bottom side currently

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • What chance another 3 goals conceded by the away side? Very limited stats to work with though. Head to heads have been tight.

6pm - Akhisar Belediye v Galatasaray  - 1.77 away

Standout Stats

  • 6-1 and 2-1 Gala at home in the last 2 head to heads
  • This is 12th v 3rd in the Turkish top flight .Galatasary go equal first, albeit likely to have a slight negative goal difference, with a win today. If you read my research, you'll know Akhisar are Fenerbahce's bogey team. That may be the reason why Galatasary are not shorter odds today.

  • Only 4 wins in 22 matches, but those 4 wins came within the last 9 matches.
  • 3 wins in their last 4 at home.
  • Beat Fenerbahce 2-0 at home, not played 1st or 3rd at home yet.
  • Only 2 defeats at home v 4th and 15th
  • Only 1 0-0 at home.

  • No draw in 6 away
  • conceded in their last 5 away
  • 3 wins in their last 4 matches.
  • 2 losses in their last 3 away matches.
  • Losses away v 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 18th. Wins away v 9th-18th inclusive.
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Galatasary, unlike Fenerbahce, don't lose consistently to Akhisar. Motivation with the away side today  to stay in the title race. 6 matches remain this season and all are critical. Akhisar win very infrequently so I would have to favour the away side today. Galatasary have won consistently away to teams around Akhisar's position in the league.
  • Lay Akhisar if they score first.
  • No halftime stats available in Turkey.

7:45pm - Almeria v Celta Vigo  - 2.16 away

Standout stats

  • Celta, Celta, Almeria in the last 3 head to heads.
  • This is 17th v 10th in La Liga. Almeria are a point above the relegation zone. Celta are safe .

  • 2 match winning streak at home.
  • 2 consecutive home clean sheets
  • 5 losses and those 2 wins at home in their last 7 matches.
  • No wins at home v 13th and higher in the league.
  • Only 2 0-0's at home
  • 7 0-0's at halftime at home (44%)

Celta Vigo

  • No draw in 4 matches
  • Scored in their last 5 and last 7 away
  • 3 wins in their last 4 matches, only beaten by Real Madrid.
  • Since 31st Jan, it's taken a good team to beat Celta - Villareal- Ath Bilbao - Barcelona - Real Madrid.
  • Scored in all bar 1 of 15 matches.
  • Unbeaten away v 15th and lower but scorelines tight - 0-1, 0-1, 0-2, 1-1 , 1-1
  • 24% over 2.5 goals away
  • No 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Need is greater for Almeria today. They must win, but in Celta they face a team who are unbeaten away v 15th and lower. Almeria still have no wins v 13th and higher.
  • At this stage of the season, I am afraid I am going to opt out of this match. On form Celta Vigo are the form side, being beaten recently by solid teams only. But in Almeria we face a side in great need, and that great need at home might produce a better performance.

7:45pm - Cagliari v Parma  - 1.71 home

Standout Stats

  • Parma won the last head to head 2-1 in the Coppa Italia. 0-1 Parma, 0-0, 1-0 Cagliari, 0-0 in recent Seria A head to heads.
  • This is 18th v 20th in Seria A. Cagliari are 9 points from safety. Parma are down.
  • There are 5 matches (15 available points) remaining this season. This is a must win for the glass half full Cagliari supports as they are still mathematically in with a chance of safety. I think they are down though realistically.
  • Parma are down.
  • 10 defeats for Cagliari in their last 13 matches.
  • 5 defeats for Cagliari in their last 6 home matches and they are favourites today?
  • Cagliari have only 2 wins at home, both 2-1 v 16th and 19th.
  • Parma have 2 1-0 away losses to 4th bottom and 2nd bottom.
  • Parma have not won in 14 away matches.
  • 3 recent wins for Parma came at home, 1-0 wins.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I don't think I will be paying much attention to this match between 2 teams likely to be relegated. Only the most optimistic of optimistic optimists will imagine Cagliari can salvage their season. It is mathematically possible.
  • A match to leave alone between 2 sides who are poor.

8pm - Hull v Arsenal  - 1.77 away

Standout Stats

  • Arsenal wins, 2-0 or 3-0 in the last 3 head to headsin the league.
  • This is 16th v 3rd in the Premiership. Hull are only 1 point above the relegation zone and a win today brings Aston Villa and Newcastle nearer the drop zone.
  • Arsenal have 2 matches in hand over Man City and a win today takes them 2nd. With United 2 points behind Arsenal, this will keep Arsenal honest.

  • 2 match winning streak v Crystal Palace and Liverpool
  • Scored in their last 5 at home
  • Lost v 1st and 2nd at home 2-3 and 2-4.
  • All defeats at home v top 8 bar a Liverpool win.
  • Only 1 0-0 at home
  • 13 of 18 goals scored at home came in the first half.

  • 4 match winning streak away
  • No draw in 8 away matches
  • No defeat in 9 matches
  • Have scored in their last 6 away matches.
  • 8 wins and a 0-0 v Chelsea in their last 9 matches.
  • Arsenal are solid home and away v 12th and lower, winning all bar 2 score draws.
  • No 0-0 away
  • Only 3 0-0's at halftime away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • This match seems more important for Hull than Arsenal and is likely to be a competitive match. Note Hull scored 2 goals in matches v top 2 at home, so both teams could score today. Hull are most likely to score first half so lay the 0-0 halftime score.
  • I would lay Hull if they score first. Arsenal are a bit more robust than Liverpool at the moment. Like Chelsea v QPR which required a penalty to split the sides, Arsenal will really have to be on their game to win today.
