Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

Laying the side 2-0 up worked a treat in the Sassuolo v Milan match. 2-0 up, Milan made it 2-2, the Sassuolo won 3-2. So a Desmond there too.

Over 2.5 goals came in, in the Man City match.

Zenit got the draw their needed for the Russian Championship.

Orebro scored first away to Goteborg who equalised, 2-1 it ended.

Brondby won 0-2 . Totally dominant in the in-play stats.

Man Utd v Arsenal was a good call. I went with a possible 2-1 and it was so close. Alas the 1-1 came late on in the match. Both teams scored of course.

Another Russian side continued to throw it away! Krasnador led 1-0, and 2-1 only for Torpedo to equalise 2-2.

Barcelona got the win 0-1.

Real Madrid had to win. 1-4 for Real.

Sevilla and Valencia both conceded first. They equalised soon afterwards and Sevilla went on to win.

Roma won 2-1.

Some great trading angles yesterday, particularly in Spain.

3pm - Ural v Dinamo Moscow  - 1.79 away

Standout Stats

  • 2 consecutive wins for Dinamo 2-0 and 3-0
  • This is 14th v 4th in the Russian Premier League

  • A win could take them out of the relegation zone.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 matches.
  • Only 3 draws all season, and one came in their last match. Will they really have 2 consecutive 1-1 draws?
  • Loss, Draw, Loss, Loss v top 5 at home. Both teams scored in those matches.
  • 29% over 2.5 goals at home
  • No 0-0

Dinamo Moscow

  • Conceded in their last 3 away
  • Only 3 losses in 16 matches.
  • 0-0 last time out. I selected them as bankers and they had 2 goals cancelled out.
  • Only 2 wins in 7 away matches.
  • Undefeated home and away v 12th and under. Beat 13th, 15th and 16th away.
  • Only 1 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Just as I said in their last match, Dinamo Moscow were emphatic in head to heads. A 0-0 last time may see their season slip away. They really needed to win last time out to challenge top 3 (mathematically) and with Krasnador drawing yesterday that was an opportunity lost.
  • Dinamo Moscow are undefeated v 12th and lower and Ural at home to top 5 cannot win but both teams scored. We could see that today.
  • An angle in? 1-1 draw for Ural last match and only 3 draws all season. Can we lay any late draw here in the hope this rare event does not occur for a 2nd consecutive match.

5pm - Plzen v Vysocina Jihlava  - 1.17 home

Standout Stats

  • 1-0 Plzen, 3-2 Vyso, 1-1, 2-1 Vyso in the last 4 head to heads.
  • This is 1st v 9th in the Czech top flight league.

  • No draw in 13 at home
  • Scored in their last 13 at home
  • Only 3 defeats all season.
  • 12 wins in their last 14 matches.
  • 6 clean sheets in their last 8 matches.
  • Failed to score in only 2 matches.
  • Only 1 loss at home.
  • 62% over 2.5 goals at home
  • Scored in all home matches

  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 away
  • Scored and conceded in 6 of their last 7 away matches
  • Only 2 wins home and away v teams above them in the league
  • 3-0 and 2-0 losses away to 2nd and 3rd

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Plzen are priced to score 3/4 goals today and score before halftime. Head to heads say different.
  • Lay any late draw. Both teams could score today so lay Jihlava if they score first.
  • Recent form sees Plzen likely to win to nil. Based on head to heads, well I'd lay Plzen if they score first. Which way are you inclined?

6pm - Besiktas v Torku Konyaspor  - 1.28 home

Standout Stats

  • 3-1, 1-1, 1-2 to Besiktas in recent head to heads.
  • This is 3rd v 8th in the Turkish Super Lig.Besiktas are now 4 points behind 2nd and 7 points behind 1st. A couple of weeks ago, only a cigarette paper could split these teams. 2 draws = out of the title race.
  • Besiktas do have a game in hand over 1st and 2nd so a win today will reduce the gap to 1 point to 2nd and 4 points to 1st.

  • No defeat in 7 at home
  • 2 consecutive 1-1 draws both saw Besiktas take the lead.
  • Only 2 defeats at home
  • Both teams have scored in 67% of home matches.

  • 2 defeats in their last 3 included a 1-0 loss v Galatasary.
  • Only 1 win in their last 6 away matches.
  • No win v 15th and higher away from home.
  • Lost to 1st and 2nd away. Drew 4th away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Both teams have scored in recent head to heads. As you have seen in their last 2 matches, Besiktas have drawn when leading. Both matches saw them priced at 1.5 and lower.
  • I cannot see Besiktas losing today, but faith in them winning? They must win and 2 consecutive 1-1 draws is a sequence that could end.
  • Lay Konyaspor if they score first.

6pm - Fiorentina v Parma  - 1.25 home

Standout Stats

  • 2-2, 2-2 and 1- 0 Parma in the last 3 head to heads.
  • This is 6th v 20th. Parma are relegated. Fiorentina are eyeing top 4 but must win today

  • 2 match winning streak
  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 matches.
  • No draw in 7 matches and in 5 at home.
  • Only 2 losses in their last 11 matches.
  • 2-3-3 scored in their last 3 matches
  • 3-1-3-1-3 scored at home v 15th and lower
  • 8 0-0's at halftime at home.
  • Only 3 goals conceded first half at home.

  • 2 match losing streak away
  • No win in 15 away
  • Conceded in their last 6 away matches.
  • 4-1-2-2-4-4 conceded in recent away matches.
  • Failed to score away v top 5
  • Only 1 0-0 away
  • 43 goals conceded away
  • Have never led at halftime

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Parma are unbeaten in 3 head to heads. But their season is over. Parma have conceded 2-4 goals in their last 4 away matches. They have failed to score away v top 5. Will that continue v 6th. A possibility Fiorentina will score 3 if clicking today. The motivation is theirs today.

8pm - Napoli v Cesena  - 1.19 home

Standout Stats

  • 1-4 Napoli in the last head to head.
  • This is 4th v 19th in Seria A. 3rd place is still up for grabs but will require a win today.
  • Cesena are relegated even if winning.

  • 3 match winning streak at home.
  • No defeat in 8 at home.
  • Scored in their last 16 at home.
  • 3-3-4-2-3-2 scored in their last 6 matches.
  • Only 2 defeats at home v 1st and 14th.
  • Score draws v 16th, 17th, 18th
  • 71% over 2.5 goals at home
  • No 0-0
  • 26 of 31 goals scored at home came 2nd half.

  • No win in 10 and in 7 away
  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 matches.
  • Only 4 wins all season.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 matches.
  • 3-0-3-3 conceded in their last 4 matches.
  • All defeats v top 6 away
  • Only 1 0-0 away
  • 34 goals conceded away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Must win v season over and expectation for Napoli to score 3+ goals if sparkling today.
  • 71% over 2.5 goals at home. It looks clear cut. Back Napoli if Cesena score first.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score.

8pm - UCC v Dundalk  - 1.27 away

Standout Stats

  • This is an Irish League Cup match between UCC and 1st in the Premier Division
  • 2 wins in the League Cup for UCC, 1-2 v Wexford Youths, and 3-2 win v Cobh Ramblers.
  • Dundalk are in superb form and have not lost a match since 20th September 2014 in all competitions.
  • 5 consecutive wins in the League Cup.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • University College Cork should really not have enough to beat Premier Division Dundalk in the Cup. Let that be the angle in here. Dundalk logically should win. Let's hope UCC score first so we can lay them. A 3-2

8pm - West Brom v Chelsea  - 2.02 away

Standout Stats

  • 1-1 and 2-0 Chelsea in the last 2 head to heads.
  • This is 13th v 1st in the Premiership.
  • This is a dead rubber.
  • Only 2 defeats all season for Chelsea and undefeated in 16 matches.
  • West Brom are unbeaten in 4, with 3 consecutive clean sheets.
  • West Brom have lost to all of the top 3 home and away.
  • 37 goals scored by Chelsea away.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • West Brom have lost all v top 3. Will that change in this dead rubber?
  • I cannot see Chelsea wanting to lose but we never know in these dead rubber matches. Look at Bayern Munich!
