DRT Daily Research Bulletin, May 22, 2015

Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are NOT pre-match favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds).

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market, especially in BANKER matches.

Do note matches where one team is red carded. The opponents do tend to score next more often than not.

6pm - Mjondalen v Molde  - 1.68 away

Standout Stats

  • These 2 last met in the cup where Molde won.
  • This is 10th v 6th in the Norwegian top league. Mjondalen are an interesting team as we will see.

Mjondalen

  • 4-1-3-2-4 conceded recently. The last 3 matches have been 4-3 win, 3-2 win ( v Rosenborg) and 4-2 loss.
  • Mjondalen have come from behind in the last 3 matches, from 0-2 down twice to equalise 2-2!!
  • 2 consecutive home wins 4-3 and 3-2. I backed Mjondalen at 17/1 on Betfair during a live chat when 0-2 down at home to Tromso. Mjondalen won 4-3.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 home matches.

Molde

  • Scored and conceded in their last 2 away matches
  • 2 match losing streak away.
  • No win in 3 away
  • Scored and conceded in 7 of their last 9 matches
  • 2 consecutive 2-1 away defeats.
  • Failed to score in only 1 match.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Both teams to score today has a great chance. I will also speculate on 2-2 pre match correct score given Mjondalen's recent habits.
  • Lay any team 2-0 up in this match.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score

  • This is 1st v 4th in the Austrian 1st Division

  • 2 matches left this season.  If Mattersburg win today, I think they win the title.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I don't profess to be an Austrian First Division expert as you can imagine, but it seems that the requisite motivation is with the home side today who, if my maths is correct, will win the title with a home win here today. They have been conceding few goals. So if Kap score first, lay them as I don't think they'll muster a 2nd goal.

  • The motivation is with the home side to win. Faith in that? Both teams have scored when Arles met the bottom 3. If Arles score first away, lay them .
  • I could see a 1-0, 2-0 home win if they do win.

  • Angers need a win or a draw to keep 3rd place , well guarantee 3rd place as a win for Nancy would see them threaten.
  • Nimes are safe in mid-table.

  • Angers have only lost 2 home matches.

  • A draw is all Angers need today to guarantee 3rd place and whatever benefit that might accrue in French Ligue 2.
  • Lay Nimes if they lead, better yet if they score 2 as they have in the last 2 head to heads.
  • If you want to see another goal fest as per the last 2 league head to heads, back 2-2 pre-match.

Virtus Lanciano

  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 matches.
  • WLWLDW ( W=Win, L=Loss, D=Draw) in home matches.

Bray

  • Scored and conceded in their last 2 away matches.
  • 2 match losing streak away
  • No draw in 5 matches.
  • 4 losses in their last 5 matches.
  • 3-5-8-4 conceded in recent matchs and then suddenly beat St Pats 1-0 when St Pats were 1.2 shots.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • What on earth was with Bray against St pats? An extremely positive reply to conceding 20 goals in 4 matches.
  • Bohs have been very inconsistent and they are short priced because of Bray's reputation.
  • Both teams to score and if Bray score first I would chance laying them.

  • 4-0 and 1-3 Porto wins in the last 2 head to heads.
  • This is the last match of the season. Penafiel are down. Porto simply must win by 2 clear goals at least, and hope then that Benfica lose their match in order to clinch the title. Failing that, Porto will finish 2nd guaranteed worse case scenario.
  • Penafiel have lost all matches home and away v top 4 this season and have only 1 win home and away v top 12.
  • Porto have only lost 1 match at home which was v Benfica.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • 1.09 suggests goals before halftime and 3/4 goals for Porto today. They will be hoping Benfica lose.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score as late as you can.
