Where I mention BANKER below, this signifies those matches where I think the favourites should win. These matches I would personally prioritise as regards DRT.

Remember the strategies:

Lay the 0-0 halftime score in certain signalled matches

Lay the 0-0 2nd half in matches where goals were expected but have not yet materialised

Lay the 2-2 scoreline, especially early on in matches. 2-2 shows us that teams are scoring and conceding.

Lay the away team leading 0-2 before halftime, especially if they are favourites. The home team is usually galvanised by the halftime team talk.

Lay the underdog if they score first in certain matches (especially BANKER matches where I would back the BANKERS if they conceded first at enhanced odds)

Lay the underdog scoring early in the first half, in the HALF TIME market , especially in BANKER matches.

7pm - De Graafschap v Fortuna Sittard  - 1.21 home

Standout Stats

  • 0-0 the last time these 2 met.
  • This is 6th v 19th in the Dutch Eredivisie. There are only 2 matches remaining this season. Fortuna remain 2nd bottom with a win, and De Graaf go within a point of 4th and 5th . I think the top 5 enter the playoffs.

De Graafschap

  • No draw in 5 at home
  • 2 match winning streak
  • 6 wins in their last 8 at home.
  • All defeats at home have come v top 5 sides.
  • All wins at home v 8th - 18th and a 1-1 draw with bottom at home
  • 61% over 2.5 goals at home
  • Only 1 0-0

Fortuna Sittard

  • No draw in 8 away matches.
  • Conceded in their last 8 away matches.
  • Only 1 win in 15 matches.
  • 3-3-1-3-3-3-2 conceded in recent away matches.
  • Wins away v 3rd, 5th and 7th away
  • Only 1 0-0 away

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I don't think Fortuna Sittard will salvage their season . If they win their 2 remaining matches, they need Helmond Sport to lose their 2 remaining matches and Fortuna to gain a greater goal difference. De Graaf? Well, they can enter the play-offs if they win today and win their last game too.
  • From a motivation perspective, De Graaf have the most to play for. Favour them today?

7pm - Emmen v Telstar  - 1.35 home - BANKER over 1.5 goals.

Standout Stats

  • 4-1 and 3-1 to Emmen in their last 2 head to heads in 2014.
  • This is 4th v 15th in the Eredivisie. With De Graafschaap apparently likely to win, Emmen too must win to retain their 4th spot with 2 matches remaining.
  • Telstar, you feel are safe. 6 points above 3rd bottom with 9 goals goal difference.

  • Only 1 loss in their last 8 came in their last match.
  • Scored and conceded in their last 11 home matches, scoring in their last 18.
  • Have conceded 2+ goals in 6 of their last 8 home matches.
  • No defeats at home v 9th and lower.2-2 draws v the 3 teams below Telstar in the league at home.
  • 89% over 2.5 goals at home.
  • 78% over 3.5 goals at home.
  • Both teams have scored in 83% of home matches.

  • No draw in 8 away.Conceded in their last 16 away
  • All defeats away v teams above them, bar one match.
  • Only 1 loss home and away v top 7.
  • 61% over 2.5 goals away
  • No 0-0

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Lay any late 0-0
  • Emmen have the greater motivation. Telstar you feel are safe from harm.
  • 89% over 2.5 goals, and 83% both teams to score suggests , yes, Both teams will score and we could see Emmen simply outscore Telstar.
  • Lay the 0-0 halftime score based on the expectation for goals.

7pm - NEC Nijmegen v Jong Ajax  - 1.22 home BANKER last home match having won the title.

Standout Stats

  • 1-1 the last time these 2 met, saw NEC salvage a draw with a 90th minute goal.
  • This is 1st v 11th. NEC are champions as you know. Jong Ajax are in mid table mediocrity. 2 wins in the 2 remaining matches will do nothing for their season.

  • 16 consecutive wins overall, and 18 consecutive home wins.
  • This is NEC's last home match this season. Surely a celebratory home win?

Jong Ajax

  • 6 consecutive defeats, failing to score in 5 of their last 6
  • Did draw 1-1 with NEC this season.losses away v 2nd and 3rd

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • I have not gone indepth here at all. There is no point. This is a dead rubber for both sides. The only motivation here for NEC is knowing that this is their last home match of the season. Although 1-1 when these 2 last met, NEC will be looking for a 19th consecutive home win in what will be a celebration infront of home support. Faith in NEC?

19:30 UK Metz v Marseille - 1.8 away

Standout Stats

  • 3 consecutive Marseille wins 3-1, 1-2 and 3-1 in head to heads
  • This is 19th v 5th in the French Ligue 1

  • 7 points shy of 3rd bottom and it's looking like a lost cause if they cannot win and soon.
  • 2 match home winning streak
  • Scored and conceded in their last 4 at home and overall.
  • Only 1 loss in their last 5 was v PSG
  • All wins bar 1 v 13th and lower at home
  • 62% over 2.5 goals at home

  • 4 matches left and a top 3 spot is only 5 points away
  • 4 match losing streak
  • Only 2 wins away in their last 12 matches.
  • Unbeaten away v 13th and lower.all wins v bottom 3 home and away
  • No 0-0 away
  • 8 0-0's at halftime away ( 47% of matches).

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Marseille are favoured on form. They are clearly good against 13th and lower away from home. So while they have only 2 wins in 12 away matches, let's put that into context.
  • With both teams scoring recently, lay Metz if they score first. All of their home wins came v 13th and lower at home.
  • Wealth warning! 4 matches remain, Metz must win. Will we see the kind of shock result that this part of the season seems to attract?
  • On form, it's Marseille scoring 2+ goals and both teams scoring.

19:45 UK Celtic v Dundee - 1.17 home BANKER

Standout Stats

  • 1-2 away win very recently was comfortable enough. Dundee's goal was an 87th minute goal.
  • 1-1, 2-1, 2-1 already this season for Celtic  - that both teams scoring is a worry . This is Celtic's 2nd to last match at home.
  • 4 matches remain. That's 12 possible points and with an 8 point difference to Aberdeen, a win today is highly likely to clinch the title.
  • Dundee are on a 4 match losing streak including that 1-2 recent loss to Celtic.

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • No major research necessary here, such is the close proximity of the last head to head. As ever with these odds, expect a goal before halftime and 3/4 from the hosts. Note Celtic did take until the 2nd half in their last match v Dundee United away so there is no great urgency for them to lead at halftime such is their apparent dominance against both Dundee sides.

19:45 UK Real Sociedad v Levante - 1.85 home

Standout Stats

  • 4 consecutive draws in head to heads.
  • This is 12th v 15th in La liga.
  • Levante are 6 points from the relegation zone
  • Sociedad are 11 points clear of relegation.
  • This is a dead rubber for Sociedad really, so I'm not going to research indepth.
  • Sociedad are unbeaten in 7 home matches, and have 4 draws in their last 6 matches.
  • Sociedad have lost v 7th, 11th, 14th and 17th at home.
  • Levante away have only beaten teams 14th and lower.
  • 2 consecutive 1-0 wins for Levante  - no draw in 9 away for Levante

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • Not a match which greatly interests me I'm afraid. Sociedad are pretty safe, not mathematically so but 11 points clear with 12 points remaining suggests they are fine.
  • Levante have hit a small winning run, Sociedad have 4 draws in 6 matches and are winless in those 6 matches.
  • As is typical for this part of the season, there will be matches such as this one. I suppose a value angle in here is to lay Sociedad if they score first, as their odds should be short.

20:00 UK Shamrock Rovers v Drogheda - 1.28 home

Standout Stats

  • 2-3, 1-2, 0-2 Shamrock wins in the last 3 league matches, so they are winning but not convincingly
  • This is 3rd v 9th in the Irish Premier Division

Shamrock Rovers

  • Unbeaten this season but 5 draws and 3 0-0's is a slight worry.
  • 1-0, 0-0, 0-0, 3-0, 2-2 in recent home matches.
  • Clean sheets in 7 of 10 matches this season

  • 8 without a win, includes 6 losses
  • Failed to score in 4 of their last 6 matches.
  • Only 1 clean sheet

Profitable In-Play Opportunities

  • This looks straightforward, apart from the numerous draws Shamrock are having. They should not lose today. Little to go on for other markets.
