18:30 - Sociedad v Granada - 1.75 Sociedad

  • Top 6 pretentions for Sociedad, as for Granada but less so the latter side.
  • Sociedad have had a poor post-lockdown. Only 1 win came last home match.
  • That was the only match they scored 2 goals in post-lockdown.
  • 2-2-0-0-1-2-2 goals scored by Granada post lockdown. A little more consistent with those 2 goals. A slight lull in the middle.
  • Draw, Draw, Win away for Granada post lockdown.
  • With Sociedad 7th, Granada have 7 losses and a 4-4 away v the top 9. Granada are 10th.
  • Angles? Not liking Sociedad post lockdown. Really poor form. Granada have scored 2 goals more regularly but tend to lose to top 9 away so on seasonal form are not expected to win.

21:00 - Real Madrid v Alaves - 1.24 Real Madrid

  • '1-0 to the Ar...Madrid' is the new song if there were any fans present!
  • Real Madrid have a game in hand over Barcelona in 2nd and a point in hand. Alaves have a 2 wins gap over the bottom 3, albeit eroded by a Mallorca win yesterday.
  • One man has stood up for Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos. 5 goals post lockdown, 3 penalties and 2 consecutive penalties resulting in 1-0 wins.
  • Alaves have failed to score in 4 of their last 5 matches.
  • It's an easy one this. We expect a Real Madrid win and if 0-0 for a while (as Alaves need points), you might want to entertain a 1-0 win and you might get decent odds about Sergio Ramos anytime scorer.

17:00 - Guimaraes v Gil Vicente - 1.53 Guimaraes

  • 4 matches remaining.
  • Guimaraes are 3 wins away from a top 4 spot, that's of course assuming other sides oblige and lose.
  • Gil Vicente look safe, but not mathematically so. 9 points clear of the relegation zone.
  • Only 1 loss in 9 for Guimaraes came v top 5 Braga, and even then, they scored 2 goals.
  • 2 consecutive wins for Guimaraes.
  • 3 consecutive away losses for Gil Vicente.
  • Guimaraes have scored in their last 11 and last 7 at home.
  • Guimaraes are unbeaten at home v 6th and lower. 2-2 last time these 2 met.
  • 7 losses and a draw away for Gil Vicente v the top 9.
  • Angles? On seasonal form, we'll have to be with Guimaraes.

19:15 - Sporting Lisbon v Santa Clara - 1.56 Sporting Lisbon

  • 4 matches remaining.
  • 3rd is the best that Sporting can hope for. And it guarantees Europa League football.
  • Mid table mediocrity for Santa Clara who can mathematically, but not realistically, hit the top 4.
  • Sporting have been excellent post lockdown. Draw, Win, Win, Win, Win, Draw. 7 consecutive home wins.
  • Santa Clara, post lockdown, could be a pain in the rear. 3-2 win v Braga and 3-4 win v Benfica is very impressive. But 2 consecutive 1-0 losses so far.
  • 100% wins for Sporting at home v 7th and lower (Santa are 9th). Santa have conceded 2+ goals v the top 4 away.
  • Angles? If Santa fancy it, they could offer up some fun here - already post lockdown 3-2 win v Braga and 3-4 win v Benfica. But they will have to be on their games given that Sporting Lisbon have 100% wins at home v 7th and lower.

21:30 - Pacos Ferreira v Braga - 1.97 Braga

  • 4 matches remaining.
  • Pacos are 7 points clear of the relegation zone.
  • Braga are currently top 4.
  • 4 wins and 2 losses for Pacos post lockdown. The losses came v Sporting Lisbon and Porto, 2 other top 4 sides.
  • Loss, Draw, Loss away for Braga post lockdown. Their wins came at home.
  • Pacos have conceded in their last 13 matches.
  • Pacos beat Sporting Braga 0-1 earlier this season. 0-0-1-0 goals scored by Pacos at home v the top 5.
  • Braga's 3 losses home and away v 11th and lower, were only 1-0 so if Pacos score first, lay them it seems.
